Thinking Of You
Hello bloggers! I started today's card by embossing a piece of white card with the Art Deco Flowers embossing folder. I cut it about 3/4 the way down and added mounting foam to both pieces. I added both of them to another piece of white card with a separation between them. I cut the ivy panel from the Peony Floral Panel. I added a piece of card that I had used Pixie Powders on, then recessed it down into the separation area. I cut the outer die from the Vivian die in white as a base for the focal element. I then added the next size down in the Vivian die cut in white. I cut a small oval frame out of the leftover Pixie Powdered card I made. I added a white backing and attached it to the centre of the Vivian die. I cut the Thinking of You out of the pixied card and glued it into the centre of the frame. I cut some flowers from the Magnolia Corner die in white, assembled them and added them to the corner of the oval frame. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" X 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a beautiful green and white sensation today, the background with the pixie powders behind the one ivy looks stunning and to add the top layers makes this a very special card, 'Thinking of you' is the perfect sentiment for this too.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Morning. I must say that this is a real Sue card, it's beautiful, these are some the designs that highlighted you as a brilliant designer as well as your Spellbinder days, ask any crafter the question "who is behind this beautiful design" and they'll know immediately. During 1st lockdown I made several thinking of you cards just plain but your sentiment dies made the card, those days were so frightening and uncertain, my cards nowhere near as beautiful but they said volumes just like today's inspiration thank you xxx
ReplyDeleteLove to everyone that visits, special hugs to our friends suffering today 🌷
