  1. So gorgeous, love the card. Frosted elegance.
Elaine, how dreadful that Andrew had such a nasty accident in .hospital. I hope he is feeling better and was able to go home, he will feel more comfortable in his own bed.
Sharon, hope the removal of the clips in your leg go well.
June, so sorry you had such a poor night, maybe you are trying to do too much, ease up a little, we don't want you back in hospital.
Tina and Peter, he can cook too, I like custard with my treacle tart.
Tracey, you may feel anxious about going back to work, I'm sure it will do you good as long as you get back in gently. Talk to your manager, they should help.
Lynda, my fingers crossed that all your tests go well. Take care.
Betty, you are well on the way to recovery now, the new plaster should be more comfortable fir you.
Huge hugs to Tina and Mick, Laine and her mum, Lorraine, PP, Wheeley and Billy and all who need one, Myra, you are welcome.

  12. Wow Sue. Good morning. See through card ? Intrigued, but not for much longer as my 2 have just gone for the first walk if the day which leaves it nice and peaceful to try and take in your inspiration. I have non of these festive dies, so need to watch to see if I can use another festive background from last year's collection. Talking of collections Sue - MORE new dies ? There is NO chance EVER now that I will catch up, I still don't have a complete set going back to the very first dies you launched, and they are coming so fast now I can't keep up, they look stunning as usual, very girly lol and the Finishing Touches as always will be my first order but after I've stuck to my plan of collecting the circle and oval Noble dies, whenever that will be goodness knows and it's getting me down a little as they are such an important basic in my opinion, but I'm really excited for you and your new collections, will there be any co-ordinated embossing folders at all, especially for the shadow boxes ? Would be fun to have the 'girly items' embossed in the background, what do you think ? Anyway before I know it, my 2 will be back and I won't have watched any of today's tutorial, so I'll send you the usual daily hug, and wish you a productive day as you beaver away with new samples with your beautiful new dies ☺ xxx

  46. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, now this card looks really interesting, I have a lot of video's to catch up on and I think this is going to be top of my list.

Nurse came round yesterday and told me off (nicely) because I didn't ring them about the leaking onto my dressing, she changed it and even before she left it had started to come through a little bit, well this morning it is certainly through again. I had to contact my Drs. to ask if I could take 2 of the morphine capsules at 8pm and 1 at 8am, he said yes and I was able to sleep for longer periods last night which was a great help because I was really shattered yesterday. Colin has got to go to surgery this morning to collect another prescription and sign for it because it is a controlled substance. The CEPS nursing manager is coming to see me today because of the leaking, not sure what time yet, I think there could be the start of an infection in it (I hope I am not but it looks like it to me), anyway I will let you know how I get on. I can bend my knee 80 which nurse said was very good, so I am on the right track. I can get out of bed and into the shower on my own but not back into bed or out of shower yet but I am getting there. You can see those crossed fingers can't you !!!

Elaine how is Andrew's head today, hope he feels a little better, I thought going into hospital was supposed to make you better not incur injuries, hugs.

Thanks Tina T for your good wishes, getting there slowly, so nice to hear that Peter can cook and is helping you, good therapy that is. I taught my Colin how to make one of my favourite meals 'macaroni cheese' yesterday and it was surprisingly good, so I am going to accept a tick for being a good teacher haha.

Sharon, not up to date yet on every thing that has happened over the past couple of weeks but hope the removal of the clips in your leg go well.

Tracey, it is only natural that you feel anxious about going back to work, and it is good advice from Pam to talk to your manager - I was in a similar position in 2000 and my Manager was brilliant as was everyone else, it certainly helped with getting back into a normal life again.

Lynda, my fingers crossed that all your tests go well. Take care.

Betty, you are well on the way to recovery now, the new plaster should be more comfortable for you.

Huge hugs to Tina and Mick, Myra, Laine and her mum, Lorraine, PP, Wheeley and Billy and all who need one.

Sorry if I have missed anyone. Pam a special hug for you, always there to guide us at the beginning of every blog.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  47. Hi Sue
Loving your card ,so frosty and beautiful .

June i do hope you had a better night ?,

    Anon ,i know exactly what you mean , { i am turning into my Mum too, bless her }

Crewe Trish, i intend to start my Christmas cards this Weekend ,they are usually half completed by now but hey ho, life interferes sometimes .

Betty , We really do not realise how much for granted we take our limbs until something happens ,and then we struggle ,Take care. x

Andrew got home at 7.00pm ,he is now in high spirits again ,saying " he is ready for Halloween with his real McCoy scar {from the top of his forehead right down to his nose } all he needs is the bolt in his neck.
Joking apart, he feels so much better , still has a few tummy gripes now and again ,but the Doctors feel certain they have sorted the problem.
Thank you all for your concern and good wishes, it really means a lot to us .

Sending big hugs to all .
    Take Care

Wow! this beauty is right up my street - if in doubt, throw some glitter onto it but even I wouldn't have thought of adding glitter to both sides of the sticky sheet so will be trying this asap..lol...and using red as a contrast colour is perfect, really sets off the focal point against all that bling.

  117. Good evening Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is an awful bonny card Sue and i normally wouldn't go for red and white together, but this is just beautiful in every way. THis is the first i've had a chance all day to get 5 minutes to myself. Every time you go to do something someone wants your attention in other directions and now i'm just fair knackered so i'm sorry that i'm not longer flower but i will see you in the morning. Anyway my mind is away in other directions today so not really all that clever,
    love and crafty hugs

I love your see through technique, it is fab and it certainly gives this card the "WOW" factor !!! Beautiful white see through glittery effects with more gorgeous, layered Christmas dies in red and white. I think this is the perfect Traditional Christmas card. (My favourite kind of Christmas card.) Thank you for sharing. Sending you lots of love Sue from Tres x x x
