  2. Stunning card Sue. This is fabulous
Congratulations to Karen, enjoy your card.
June, Colin is the perfect nursing assistant for you, he won't let that knee fail. Take care but keep going.
Betty, won't be long before stitches are out. You will feel so much better with the new plaster.
Tina hope Peter enjoyed his Shepherds pie, don't suppose he left any
Wendy, well done on completing your interview so well. How short sighted of them to fill the post before they have interviewed everyone, don't they know the best comes last.
Elaine, I'm glad the boys did so well and were there for each other, hope they are both feeling a little better today.
Steph, I'm sorry you are not feeling so good. You are quite inspirational to cope with your illness and still go to market to sell your cards, you are a stronger person than I am or ever will be.
Hugs to Tina and Mick, all who are not well and all on the blog.

  13. Morning love. Gorgeous. When you've shown this on HOCHANDA it's always been the one that stands out to me, with the combination of colours as the background to the prettiest butterfly frame I've ever seen, it's just so pretty. It didn't even look like there where any pixies on your card, even with the very first spritz of water, but once you added the 2nd spritz of water it really came to life. I have bought 3 pixies and a spray bottle to try the background with the black gloss card, but as I had to stock up on baby boy cards I had to put it on hold, but I will play at some point. I'm not 'all that' lovely Pam, as market isn't for me tomorrow, I didn't spend much time awake yesterday so no cards made, and as I'm not in it to make my fortune, my health has to come first, a cold can quickly turn into a nasty infection which finds you hooked up to antibiotics in a hospital bed, that has happened to me so often that it's a lesson learnt ! I don't feel so good so it's another market missed, it just means I'm further away from getting my round Noble set than I wanted to be, that's life I suppose !
Before I finish, a dear friend hits a big birthday today but it won't be as happy as it should be, so Tina E - you're in my thoughts sweetheart xx
To finish up, I'll send my congrats to Karen, enjoy your special gift.
As a thank you for showing my favourite birthday gift (this die is at the top of my list) here is an extra hug for the day lol it's full of beasties so you decide if you want it lol. Have a good day xxx

  23. Gorgeous card, Sue, love it all. Beautiful colours and good to see the techniques inc paved border and pierced edges - guilty of using nobles so don't do too much of that now! Your pretty top looks pixied too lol!
Laine - send good wishes to PP please.
Pussycats Wendy - how strange to interview when the post is filled - a disappointment BUT you have 'crossed the bridge' interview-wise so onward and upward! Nice to know that a job was there for you even it it is one you don't want.
Well done to Karen on the card win.
Hugs to all both poorly and improving - happy weekend.

  68. Hi, Sue,
This card is just out of this world. I adore butterflies!
Darn it...I wish you'd had your Pixie Powders available when I was looking at the Brusho crystals as I would have bought yours in a Flash! I feel I need to use them up before I get anything new...perhaps I could accidentally drop them on the floor...with the lids open lol. Your set of powders have so many beautiful colours I feel I'm going to weaken and start buying them. Perhaps one a month wouldn't break the bank lol.
I had a strange postal delivery yesterday, a set of Hobby Art Stamps! I knew I hadn't bought them as I'd never been on their website. I went to see what they had there and found out the set I had delivered cost around £26! Worrying that I was going to get a bill I emailed them asking for a copy of the order. Later I realised where they must have come from...every month I get my craft magazines and every month I have a go at winning their giveaways...guess what...I think I must have won! Now I feel that it's okay to take them out of the packet and use them. Shame it wasn't some of Sue's wonderful collections, but I'm thrilled as I never win anything!
    Happy Saturday everyone.

Today's card is stunning. Beautiful background and colours. Really love the effect done with the pixie powders so they're on my shopping list, along with all the other stuff that's on my shopping list lol.
Can't get on to comment every day and then it takes ages to catch up, I'm so sorry if I miss anyone.
Laine I know exactly what you mean about busyness, seems life is busy all the time at the moment, as I've said before, it's just bonkers.
Princess P, sorry you've not been your usual self and your boys misbehaving on top. I know exactly what you mean too, I have boys and they really are hard work sometimes - good job we love em!
June, so glad to hear your op went ahead and you're on the move again, just take it easy, exercise but not too much and you'll be right in no time.
Wheely, hope Billy is OK and you too.
Myra, thank you for your kind advice, you're so right. Why is it that we just get on with sorting things out ourselves sometimes without talking to the Big Man? FIL is doing OK, he's even got himself a girlfriend, so sweet, they go round together holding hands all the time, aw.
Must get on so bye for now. Wishing everyone a great weekend.
    Sending love and hugs.

  110. Beautiful card Sue and my favourite die. Love anything with butterflies. Away to watch the video. Have had a busy few days and the rest of the week will also be busy. Having a lot of problems with my hand and wrist so crafting is very difficult. Not much done. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous card and for the tutorial.

  116. Just gorgeous. The Butterfly Frame is high on my list. I have a couple of pixie powders but need a few more colours before I have a try at using them, so I'm really pleased that you've done this video. Hopefully it will give me the confidence to use them.
    Take care everyone.

  117. Good evening Sue and fellow Bloggers. What an inspirational ending to a beautiful autumn day. I have not seen the liquid pearls applied numerous times to create a unique border. The blue shades of Pixie Dust were perfect for the white borders and gorgeous and elegant butterfly die cut. Blue always catches my attention and the method you used is a must try. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. The video willI most definitely create pleasant dreams for me.

  119. The internet connection at the caravan site went down yesterday and I have had to come to my mum's to catch up, hence the late comment!

Lovely card. Love the. Pixie powder colours you have used. Nice to see you return to the 'dotty' method of using the pva glues.
