You've nudged my mojo this morning so once again a BIG BIG THANK YOU from one very happy follower.
Needless to say I love today's gift in all its glory.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, gorgeous card, love the sugared roses, just lush. Lol lynne m x x x
ReplyDeleteThank goodness DP is now over for a few more weeks. Late Tuesday afternoon I had the pleasure of bathing poochies by myself cuz hubby was going to be late home again ( he has the good fortune to be late home most times when poochies need bathing). The whole house enjoyed the experience of being sprayed with water as poochies ran around the house shaking themselves silly as I tried to catch them to dry them off. Eventually poochies, me and the house dried off. Next to look forward to was the haircut. Yesterday morning the groomer arrived and poochies took to the hills ( well behind the settee anyway) growling their disapproval loudly. It took a few doggie treats to get them where I could pick them up. Cully was first whimpering all the time. As soon as she was finished the little actress pranced around the lounge saying look at me!!. Tilly decided that she didn't need any pampering thank you very much and disappeared upstairs. Crafty little b she knew doggie treats would be on offer to get her down. She kept trying to lay down on the grooming table daft bat looked so funny with her head down and bum up in the air. They look lovely but I know if the little b's can find a muddy puddle they will be there like a shot. Hopefully today I will have a stressless day with poochies but I'm not holding my breath cuz the only thing that would happen is I will turn blue!!!
Lol and hugs to all lol lynne m & clean crafty conniving cute critters x x x

Good morning Sue& friends,
ReplyDeleteOh I love this die Sue, so do both Sue & Pat, it can be used in so many different ways, I am going to sit and watch the video with my cup of tea in a few minutes, I may then use the inspiration to go and make a card, my dining table is still groaning under the weight of all my craft goodies as yesterday was my crafting day with Sue & Pat, we didn't get much crafting done though, too busy catching up with not seeing Sue for 2 weeks!
The naughty madam also concealed the fact that it was in fact her birthday last Friday ! It highlighted to me the fact that the three of us have only been 'friends' for about 9 months, should you see the three of us you would thing we have known each other all our lives!
I am truly blessed to have met such amazing friends, who have changed my life so much for the better, all of this thanks to this amazing blog, where we met and decided to meet up for a coffee!
So thank you Sue (w) for the amazing gift of friends go as well as the inspiration !
My blog is another example, we are all friends of Sues that wanted to continue our conversations, so we come visit Sue, our first and most important visit of the day, then we meet over at my blog where the conversations continue all day, it gad been nick blamed the coffee shop, as it's where friends go to chat! Again this has changed my life, I have gone from being a very depressed, disabled, housebound individual, to someone that now has a purpose to get up and have something to look forward to other than a day of loneliness! These are the huge benefits of a blog like our Sue has here, not only providing daily inspiration, but also giving lifelines without even realising!
Thank you So much Sue, you are an amazing lady!
Love and hugs

Hi Sue. Gorgeous. I remember you doing this demo on your recent POTD show, what a great idea to use sand paper to soften the edges you cut round, I still feel I could make a hash of it though lol. Im hoping our Wilsonette sister from USA has or will watch your lovely tutorial today as you have answered her question about what to do if card cracks whilst being embossed (by the way dear American friend, the Foundation card that Sue uses and many of us use is between 200 - 230gsm I THINK which embosses deeply and beautifully.
ReplyDeleteDear Mr Lancashire has just informed me that the Classic Rose die isn't on his list of 'still wanted' Sue dies !!! O. M . Goodness, that's why its not in my stash lol time to put that right me thinks... Wheres me pen ?
I suppose we will have days and days and days of picking apart the voting outcome! As if its not been ramed down our necks for long enough already !!
So Im off to add to Mr L's list and hopefully get down to some crafty cutting (manky eye allowing) ! Its poorly and sore boohoo poor little eye lol.
Love to you Sue and all Particraftholics that join us here today.

Good evening Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card Sue that could do for any occasion but i'm thinking wedding card in the brides colours would look spectacular. My special niece that is getting married in more a simpler but elegant kind of a girl so this design would suit her right down to the ground. Thank you Sue for another brilliant piece of inspiration and i hope that you are having a lovely time with mum as well as working which we all know that you still do when you are away.
It has been a glorious day up here at Glenochil and my Ochils if a tad cool for sunbathing but it has brought my hills alive like nothing else today. They look so vivid today as if they are standing in front of a backdrop canvas and showing off that they are real. The changes that you see in this magnificent feat of wonder is amazing and does you so much good when you see all the colours in them shining out and making such a statement. I hope that you have all had a good day and the weather has been as kind to you as it has been here,
Sending love and crafty hugs to all my angels
Norah (Glenochil)
A really pretty card today Sue, thanks for the inspiration.xx
ReplyDeleteHi Sue...whoops I'm late responding to this stunning card, and what a treasure it is. Such a busy, busy day...but I wont bore you with the details...LOL. When I open to view your daily creation I feel that I'm in a character in a story...Aladdin perhaps? Instead of "open sesame" and there being a lamp to grant a wish for treasure...it is "open Sue's Blog" & lo and behold the treasure is then before me...you probably think I'm gone loose in the head but I was just trying to find a different way of complementing your design, but no matter how it is dressed up with a few words or a written masterpiece, (well I think you know what I mean)the result is always the same...everyone loves your stunning work and appreciates the time and effort you dedicate for us...Anyways video was super...these wonderful videos showing us your techniques are always welcomed by all...thank you... still working my way through your other tutorials...wish I could save them to computer...take care to one and all...Love Beth B x x x

Lovely card and lots of technique tips on the video I can use. Thank you for sharing. This Caribbean die is the second die of yours that I have tried. It comes out beautifully. I placed a peacock decoupage piece in the center of mine with flowers to accent for a birthday card for my sister-in-law. She lives in Montana and raises peacocks. They follow her around the ranch like puppy dogs! She loved the card.
ReplyDeletebeautiful and inspiring. looks classy and pretty x
