Today's card is the ultimate in a quickie card. I used the Garden Gate background from Justrite and simply used the Distress Markers across it in an assortment of colours (Forest Moss, Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky), then lightly spritzed it with water and stamped it on white card. I dried it thoroughly then covered it with a piece of sticky adhesive sheet, peeled the backing paper off and covered it with micro beads for texture. I matted it with a thin white mat and wrapped a piece of frilly edged white ribbon around it and tied a double bow. I finished the bow with a pearl embellishment. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Fancy Tags Two die and used foam to mount it on the top of my stamped background. I used the Interlocking Circles embossing folder to emboss a larger white background. I taped it to a double white pierced mat then attached my stamped background piece in the centre with foam tape. I finished the card with Cosmic Shimmer white PVA glue dots at the junctions in my embossed background and let it dry. I like the fact that it is quick to make, fun to make and can be used for both male (remove the bow) or female or any occasion just by changing the sentiment or the colours or both. Finished dimensions are 7" x 9" in size. Be back tomorrow with another winner! All for now, Sue x
