Hi bloggers! I am simply crazy about this set of stamps and wanted to show it in black and white simplicity. It is called Lace Medallion Labels by JustRite stamps. I absolutely love the way they are incredibly detailed and yet so simple to use. This card takes so little time but the results are outstanding in my humble opinion. I started with a piece of coconut white card and stamped the border from the set four times across the card. I used a black Archival ink pad for this. I covered the piece with a sticky adhesive sheet, peeled the backing paper and covered it with clear micro beads. Background sorted! Next I stamped the medallion stamp on black card using a clear perfect medium pad. I covered it with white embossing powder and heat embossed it. I cut it out with the matching medallion die from Justrite stamps. I stamped my sentiment in black on white card and cut it out with one of the smaller dies in the set. I layered it up in the centre, that was the focal element sorted. I used a piece of white tulle netting and wrapped it around the corners of the card and tied a bow in the bottom corner. I added a smaller black bow tied from seam binding and topped it with a rolled felt flower (Spiral blossoms four). The finishing touches included two stick pins and a pierced mat layer. So quick, so easy and can't you just picture it in any colour you like! Finished dimensions 6 1/2" x 8" in size.
On another quick note, I haven't heard from the winner of the "orphan" cards yet. Since I think they truly need a loving home, I will draw another name and announce it with Sunday's comment game winners if I don't her from her by then. All for now, Sue x
