For The Bride And Groom

 Morning all!  Think December wedding for this one!  I have used the stamps from Sam Poole's wedding stamp set for this card.  I love the fact that this frame around the bride and groom is designed to be used with Spellbinders Labels 13.  I stamped and embossed it with silver embossing powder to keep with my white and silver theme on this card.  The floral frame around the card is actually made from the left over bits out of the border that you can see peeking out from underneath the floral frame.  There is a close up view below for you.  I used the lotus border die to create a border inside my square and then I attached (with glue) the four petal flower looking left over piece to the frame I made for my borders.  I added a drop of pearl PVA glue to the centres of each of these to give them a more flower like appearance.  I cut a piece of white tulle and threaded it through a diamante buckle and added a string of pearls on either side to frame it.  The very background is a piece of decorative paper that I used but I liked the way it looked similar to the Spellbinders frame around the bride and groom. I know it looks like I have way too much time on my hands!   It was a bit of a time consuming card to make but I liked the way that it allowed me to use the left over bits creatively.   Now, who do I know getting married this month, hmmm?!  All for now, Sue x

    WAUW this is absolutely jawdropping, and I´m really amazed of the beauty in this one here. And if you don´t know, who to use it for, it´s my 35th weddinganniversary here on December 11th, and I would sure love a card like this ha ha ha. Who wouldn´t? It´s really stunning work.

    WOW Sue what a fabulous card it must have taken you ages, I would love a demo on this in one of your future C&C shows if possible. It makes me want to get married to receive this card LOL ;-)
    I love using the 'waste' of spellbinder dies there are some pretty bits and pieces too pretty to throw away, I have a box that I keep the ones not used in (how sad is that?) ;-)

    FANTABULOUS. worth all that time you supposedly have on your hands - what patience. I think we would all like to receive it, getting married or not! Maybe you should raffle it or have a contest for charity, if you don't find someone to send it to.

    WOW Sue, this card is simply Elegance! The time you spent on this card def worth it, I have been cracking my brain in making a keepsake wedding card for a dear colleague. I have that particular Sam Poole’s stamp sheet bought from a craft website; I would love to win this card so i could replicate it. Finger's crossed!
