Just Another Damn Day in Paradise

Hello bloggers!  Ethel is showing off a little leg in today's card! LOL  I started with a piece of white card and use the postcard stamp all over it using a black archival ink pad.  I did use a pale blue pencil and just ran it around each of the postcards to make them pop a little bit.  Next I used the Double Stitched Rectangles and I cut one in raspberry, one in sunshine yellow and one in white and I matted them up.  I taped them to the middle of the card. From the Murray and Ethel Lovin Life die set,  I stamped Ethel in her swimsuit in black and coloured her with pencils in shades of pink and yellow.  I used the matching die and cut her out and added her to the middle of the mats with mounting foam.  I added a light wash of grey ink round her feet.  I stamped the Just Another Day in Paradise sentiment in black and cut it out with a stitched square,  I matted it in raspberry card and added it to the upper corner of the mat stack with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
