Just For You

Hello bloggers!  I have a lovely clean and simple card to share with you today.  I embossed a piece of white card with the Padded Quilt embossing folder.  Next I cut the Layered Garden Rose in shades of red.  I cut one large flower and one bud and assembled them.  I cut the stems and leaves in shades of green.  I assembled the single flower and bud and adhered it to the left side of the background.  I cut the Just For You sentiment in black and glued it to a white shadow backing die cut.  I added the sentiment with mounting foam to the lower right side of the card.  I cut a larger piece of white card and glittered the edges with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.

  1. Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh wow and double wow, this is absolutely gorgeous, elegant, sophisticated, clean, crisp, love every bit of it. You can't go wrong with these types of cards, ideal for batch making and just leave the sentiment off until you know who to send it too. Love it.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  3. Hi Sue. Another lovely card again today using the beautiful rose this time. I do love the padded quilt embossing folder but haven't got it. I do hope Creative Expressions will do another run of this one as I know there are other Wilsonettes who would like to have this one and missed out like I did.

Wow, love this post. Think I might try a thin black layer in there as well but love it as it is all the same…
