Merry Christmas

Hello crafters!  I started by cutting the Stained Glass Songbird die out of white.  I glued it to a piece of acetate, then used polished silk glitters on the reverse side.  You need to start with the darkest colour areas first, apply glue to those areas then sprinkle the glitter on them and tap them off. I used blue, brown, rose copper, lava red and sparkle star polished silk glitters.  I cut the middle die from the set in white and added it to a piece of white card covered with a sticky adhesive sheet.  I peeled the backing paper off and attached the die then coated it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I then matted the songbird die on top.  I used the scalloped die from the Decorative Borders die set and cut it in white five times.  I glued it along the edge of a piece of white card to create a border.  I added the songbird die in the middle of it.  I cut the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Christmas Wordie sheets and added it above the focal element.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x
