Cute As A Button

Hi there my crafty friends!  I started this card by cutting the Decorative Oval Aperture Trio die in white.   I used the Heart Lattice embossing folder and embossed a piece of white card.  I added the Aperture Trio over the embossed background using some mounting foam to raise it.  I used the Slimline Stiched Rectangles to make a multi-layered frame.  I used the Slimline Essential dies to cut a white frame and I added it to the top of the base frame with mounting foam.  Using the papers from the Dots 'N Stripes Paper Pad, I cut baby outfits from the Cutest Clothesline die in pink, blue and green striped papers and added them to the apertures.  I also added matching socks, bunny and booties cut in the same colours.  I cut the Cute As A Button Sentiment out of the green striped paper and added a black shadow  to the sentiment.  I cut the shadow die in white, glued the sentiment to it, then glued it to the top centre of the frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 4 3/4"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Sue.
This is as cute as can be, it's absolutely adorable in every way. If there's any new dies I'd really love it's your newest New Addition dies, they are so versatile from before the new baby arrives, right through to the first birthday and one in particular - the train, absolutely wonderful for any age that loves trains whether it's large steam trains or making scenery for smaller train models.
Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful inspiration I have so much admiration for you and your amazing talent.
Hugs to all this Friday xxx

  11. Hi Sue
Today’s card is a real cutie, just love all those baby clothes. Sorry I haven’t been here the past couple of days but my husband had a stroke on Wednesday morning and is in hospital. So grateful to our wonderful NHS that from calling the ambulance in the space of 3hours he had a CTscan, had the clot removed from his brain and a bed on the acute stroke ward especially as it was a bank holiday here in Northern Ireland

    Love and hugs to everyone
    Pat

    1. Oh wow Pat I'm so sorry to read of all your worry and anguish, but thank goodness as you say for our amazing NHS they deserve the recognition you and your family give them. That Golden Hour was certainly golden in many ways. Thinking of you and your husband, I'm sure his recovery will be swift and I hope you find some rest from all the worry you had xxx
