Special Delivery

Hello crafters!  I selected a piece of pink striped paper from the Dots 'N Stripes Paper pad.  I cut two strips of it and glued it across opposite corners.  Next I cut two of the Noble Pierced Stars in white and cut the centres out to make frames.  I cut the Baby Woodland Animals.  I cut the owl and raccoon in gray and the fox and deer in brown.  I inked them lightly to add some detail then seated the owl and fox in the upper star and the raccoon and deer in the lower star.  I cut the Special Delivery sentiment in black and added it to a white shadow backing piece, then attached it in the upper corner. I added a few water crystals as accents around the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh this is so cute, with the stars supporting the little animals, love it. The pink strips could be changed to blue if necessary, great idea Sue xx

  2. Good Morning Sue and all that visit this morning.
Just great for the new baby girl ... Change the colour to blue ... And use one of the little trains instead of the animals and you have a baby boy card. This is what I will be doing soon ... I have the feeling he will be here well before he is due It's a beautiful card Sue, thankyou.
Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏.

  3. Hi Sue.
What a lovely way to wake up, another real sweet way to welcome a new baby.
I do love ALL the animals you've added over the years but especially the baby animals, I keep thinking of the others that would look cute made in metal, hedgehogs, baby rhino, some of the Bush babies etc but today's inspiration shows the versatility of your dies, these stars have many many uses and not just for card use either. It's another lovely look into how your designer mind works, thank you for sharing Sue.
Love to all that open the Particraft door today, have fun xxx
