Wishing You Well

Hello there my crafty friends!  I embossed a piece of white card using the Floral Brocade embossing folder.  Next I cut the Ruffled Edge Frame in both black and white.  I used the black die as a shadow behind the white die.  I added mounting foam to the edge and added a white backing piece.  I added the frame to the background with mounting foam.  I cut the Layered Poppies out of two shades of red and the stems and leaves out of two shades of green.  I added black centres to the poppies.  I assembled the flowers and added them inside the frame.  I cut the Wishing You Well sentiment in black and glued it inside the frame.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 3/4"  in size.   All for now, Sue x

  8. Good Morning Sue. A lovely card today Sue. I love how you shadow your frames. I have tried this quite a few times ... They are passable ... but never as good as yours. But I am getting better at shadowing my sentiments. So I can't complain. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.

  19. Hi Sue, a really lovely card. I watched Gardeners' World last night and Monty was sowing poppy seeds, different varieties with a range of colours. I think I will try something like this card but maybe with blue or orange poppies for a change.
