You Are So Special
Hello there my crafty friends! I selected a piece of Blue Dusk card and used the Decorative Scalloped Border to cut into the card on all four sides. I backed it with a piece of black card. I cut the Looped Squares in white and added two layered mats to the centre of the card. I cut a square of Blue Dusk card with the Double Stitched Squares to fit inside the Looped Squares. I cut a smaller black frame using the Double Stitched Squares an added it to the centre with mounting foam.I cut the sentiment from the You Are So Special Block Sentiment, shadowed it and glued it inside the black frame. I made a single flower using the Pierced Layered Flowers and seated it in the corner of the frame with white leaves as accents. The card was completed using white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
I'm speechless Sue, what amazing inspiration, a real Sue Wilson perfect design, part art-deco look with the decorative border all round, the gorgeous looped frames (that I was so lucky to win last year) to our beautifully placed new layered floral elegance. This must have taken some time to put together after lots of cutting so it's a real special 'gift' more than a card. Sending love to you and just to reassure you my memory is equally as bad in fact it's downright awful lol xxx
Hi Sue. What a lovely result you have created using this combination of dies together. This shows us that we shouldn't be afraid to mix and match dies from different releases. Good idea.
