You Are So Special
Hi there my crafty friends! I used my deepest blue pixied caught in crystal piece as the background for today's card. I used Midnight Blue Pixie Powder heavily on this piece. I cut one of the Decorative Borders twice in white card and glued them to the side edges of the card. Next I cut the outer frame from the You Are So Special Block sentiment in white. I cut the block sentiment out of leftover pixied card then cut it again in white and used the sentiment and paper pieced it back into the blue block. I glued it to the decorative outer backing that I cut in white and attached it to the centre of the card. Using the Pierced Summer Blossoms, I cut two different sized flowers out of white card. I added black centres and seated them in the corner with white leaves as accents. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" in size. Hi Sue. Love the colour of the pixied background. It looks so luxurious, almost like crushed velvet and together with all the white die cuts it is a real winner with me.
