Thinking Of You
Hi bloggers! I cut the Layered Poppies for today's card. I selected two shades of red and cut the flowers. I glued them together then added black centres to each of them. I cut the foliage out of two shades of green card. I assembled all the leaves and added a few buds too. I glued the assembled flowers to the foliage then added them to the bottom of a white background. I cut the Jewelled Scalloped Border in white and glued it to the left side of the card. I added small flatback pearls to the lattice as accents. I cut the Noble Thinking Of You in black and glued it above the flowers. The card was completed with white, black and red mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a gorgeous sample today, the white scalloped design and black sentiment, with the gorgeous roses in the centre, its a master piece.

Morning Sue. I love poppies so it goes without saying that I would love this card. They look so good with the dimension you have created with the dies and I love that you have added so much detail to the foliage too.

Hi Sue and all Sorry I have not commented since before Christmas I took ill on Christmas day and ended up in hospital For 10 days but thankfully am recovering now I have a lot of catching up to do on this blog! Today's card is beautiful I love the gorgeous poppies
