Best Wishes

Good Sunday morning all!  I started by selecting a piece of white gloss card.  I used Candy Pink and Burnt Orange Pixie Powders on it, spritzed it with water then covered it with a piece of scrunched up cling film and set it aside to dry overnight. The gloss card gives it a brighter and shinier end result.  Next I used the Joanie die cutting edge and cut an aperture in the centre of the pixied card.  I added mounting foam to the back of it to raise it then added a piece of white card behind it.  I recessed the piece cut from the aperture back into the opening, then added a Joanie die cut in black on top of it.  I cut the outer frame from the Joanie die in white and glued it around the aperture opening.  I cut one more Joanie die in white and cut it into four pieces and glued them to the four corners. I used the Best Wishes die cut in black and seated it onto a Decorative Flag die cut in white.  I attached it across the centre of the card.  Using the Heart Leaf Flowers,  I made a single flower and glittered it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz, then seated it at the left side of the sentiment.  I added heart leaves as accents.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  19. Hi Sue. Not too sure about this one and I can't put my finger on why. It may be because of the colour - although I do like pink, I think this pink is a bit too bright for me - sorry.
