Make A Wish

Hello crafters!  I started with a piece of white card and embossed it with the Stripes embossing folder for texture in the background.  Next I cut the Noble Scalloped Squares in sequential sizes out of white card.  I alternated them to form an interesting focal element for my sentiment and added it with mounting foam to the top of the card.  I cut a strip of the pink striped paper from the Dots 'N Stripes Paper Pad to use as a border below the focal element.  Using the Pinwheel Floral die set, I cut two flowers out of the matching pink polka dotted paper from the pad and used it as an outline for the solid white flowers.  I attached the two flowers on the left side of the border and added some white leaves as accents.  I cut the Make A Wish sentiment in black and added it to the centre of the focal element.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4"   in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Oh wow I absolutely love this Sue, such a clever design how come you've not thought of this before lol at first I thought 'ha there's the grosgrain ribbon' then you completely fooled me with your adorable paper pad which I'm not buying because I still have every single sheet from your first paper pad and I've not finished stroking that one yet.
Have an enjoyable day everyone keep safe xxx

  12. Hi Sue. When I first saw this card I couldn't remember seeing a star die and then after I read the description of how you made the card I had to laugh at myself. What a really clever idea. Love the card.

  21. Love the way in which your eyes are drawn to the scalloped squares immediately, instead of the flowers, which so often become the focal point of lots of cards. But, I do like them especially with that 'pop' of colour.I
