Belated Birthday Wishes
Hi bloggers! I started today's card by cutting the Decorative Squared Octagons into the card using five of the dies all together. I used the Double Stitched Octagons to cut an aperture in the centre of it. I cut the same aperture in the centre of a piece of black card, then used it as a backing behind the squared octagons. I made a thin frame using the Double Stitched Octagons and raised it with mounting foam and added it to the outside of the aperture. I used the Geo Trellis Embossing Folder and embossed a piece of white card and added it behind the aperture for texture. I cut the Belated Birthday Wishes sentiment in black and glued it to the inside of the frame. Using the Floral Bouquet die set, I cut three flowers of differing colours and added them to the left side of the aperture. I used varying shades of green and added leaves as accents to them. Th card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2' x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Good Morning Sue. What a lovely colourful card to start off my morning. It looks so cheery and would brighten everyone's day. I love the squared decorative octogon. It a beautiful card ... but personally I would have used another flower die ... no offence intended Sue it's just my opinion and I know that others will love them. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
