Believe

Hi bloggers!  I started by cutting the Layered Snowflake Background die (just the main snowflake) about eight times out of white card.  I glued them randomly all over a piece of white card and trimmed them even with the edge of the card.  Next I cut the backing die from the Believe Big Bold Word.  I covered a piece of acetate with a sticky adhesive sheet, then cut the background shadow die.  I peeled the backing paper off and coated it with various shades of polished silk glitter (silver, sea green and canadian blue).  I cut the Believe die out of white card and glued it to the top of the glittered backing piece.  I added mounting foam to the back and attached it to the background.  I cut several of the Classic Poinsettia out of white vellum and assembled three flowers.  I added them in opposite corners using white Evergreen Branches as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Morning Sue, Morning everyone. I sound like a head of school in assembly lol sorry.
What a fabulous idea to use dies as a background rather than a folder, I know it's not the first time but I just love how it looks. I'm still on the fence re the BELIEVE word but your vellum flowers are just gorgeous and your branches adorable.
Sending love and thanks for yesterday's 'pick me ups' and hugs to all xxx
