Best Wishes

Hi bloggers!  I pulled out the acetate to create a caught in crystal technique for the background for today's card offering.  I used Cosmic Lacquer as the base on the acetate.  Next, I used Indigo Alcohol ink with a touch of Fiesta alcohol ink to add some lighter colour to it.  I sprinkled some Mermaid Purple  Holographic Glitter onto it, then scrunched up a piece of white tissue paper and added it over the top.  I allowed it to dry overnight.  I cut the panel from the Cosmos Floral Panel set twice out of white card and nipped away the slight line left between them, then glued it over the background.  I used the Double Pierced Background Rectangles and made a multi-layered white frame.  I used mounting foam to add the layers of the frame together, then to add it to the background.  I cut a wide strip of white vellum and glued it to the edge of the frame and added forked ends to it.  I cut the Best Wishes in white and glued it across the vellum strip.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are   5 1/2"  x  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now.
