Hello crafters! I used a piece of
Silver Sparkle Alcohol ink card to create the background for this card. I used
Red Pepper and Sunshine Yellow alcohol inks all over it, then added some blending solution to give it a more mottled look. Next I cut a multi-layered frame using the
Clipped Corner Rectangles and added the frame over the background with foam mounting tape. I cut a smaller frame and added it to the inside of the larger frame. Using the
Cherry Blossom Frame, I cut a few of the branches in white and added the birds too in white. I used the
Just Because sentiment cut in white with an offset black shadow. I cut a larger piece of white card and embossed it with the
Quilted Pillow embossing folder then added the framed element to it. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 1/4" in size.

Morning Sue, a beautiful piece of cute inspiration today, I loved the launch with the home tweet home collection and the accessories where you included tiny birds you can really tell a story with these dies, and yes who needs a reason to send a card even more so now when you think back to the past 16 months the worst years most of us have lived through - but lots of love and luck to all today xxx

Good Morning Sue. This is lovely. And I love that it can be used for any occasion with a different sentiment. When I opened Partycraft this morning I actually thought it was a Christmas card ... the colours for one ... And the tiny little bird that could be a cheeky little robin. Hi Sue. There is something very calming about this card with the little birds sitting on the branches. This card has a bit of a wintery feel, but I am sure you could adapt it to other seasons by using different colours both for the background and the die cuts.

ReplyDeleteThis card is so pretty and it has a peaceful feel to it. I don’t know if it’s the silhouette of the birds but I just makes me think peaceful thoughts and I think that’s a good thing.
