Heartfelt Thanks
Hi bloggers! This card doesn't need too much in the way of a description, but in case you wonder what I used, here it is. I started by cutting the Cut Corner Squares out of Arctic Blue card and cut four different sized frames. I alternated the frames between square and diamond orientations and glued them to the card. I stamped and cut the Spring Roses and Daffodils Stampcut die. I coloured the image with Distress Markers, the roses with Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick and the Daffodils in Fossilised Amber and Squeezed Lemonade, the leaves with Crushed Olive and Forest Moss. I stamped it again and cut out the large rose, coloured it and added it with foam. I attached the floral spay o the right side of the card and cut a Decorative Flag in white. I cut the Heartfelt Thanks sentiment in black and glued it to the flag. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 8" x 8" in size. All for now. Sue x

Hi Sue, this is a little similar to those designs you put together way back when you first designed the New York square frame collection placing one square onto the card then another placed in the triangular position but I love how you added more going down in size with your beautiful stampcut design and sentiment as the finale, it's a beautiful design Sue, you all over.

Hi Sue and everyone todays inspiration is stunning, quite a simple design, but it works so well. I really do need more of your nesting dies as most of mine are plain cut and the stitching and piercing etc just add that touch of luxury. Gorgeous choice of colours too. How do you never get stuck for inspiration Sue, my mojo has taken a bit of a hike at the moment so everything seems to be taking me forever to create.
ReplyDeleteHugs to all

Wow, this is stunning, Sue. Now, I don't know if it's a lack of coffee or too much coffee but it took me an age to work out you'd used the same die set and just twisted the frames 45 degrees.
