Just For You

Hi bloggers!  I made a piece of caught in crystal for my background.  To do this, I used a piece of clear acetate and used clear Cosmic Lacquer on it then sprinkled Pixie Sparkles (Pale Blush and Coral Crush) then covered it with a piece of scrunched up white tissue paper and allowed it to dry thoroughly.  I cut two of the Stella's Borders in white and added the Pixie Sparkle piece and the two borders on to a larger piece of white card.  I stamped and cut two of the Spring Roses and Daffodils Stampcuts.  Using Distress Markers, I coloured both of them and attached them in opposite corners with mounting foam.    I cut the Just For you sentiment in black twice and stacked them then glued it to the centre of the card.  I completed the card with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6"  x  9"  in size.

Unfortunately, my wifi signal did not behave yesterday!  If you tuned in to see my demos, I really appreciate it and hopefully I will have better luck the next time I try to demo via a zoom link.   All for now. Sue x

  2. This is absolutely gorgeous Sue, the caught in crystal background is just the most beautiful colour and highlights Stella's sheer delicacy with the Stampcuts adding a floral touch this sample is gorgeous. 6pm is a busy meal time here so I have you tucked up all snug in my black craft box so I'll catch you later and I know whatever the wifi did it wouldn't spoil it for me so take care and stay safe xxx

It was a shame about the broadband connection, but we did manage to see you, these things happen beyond our control.

  16. Good Morning Sue.Such a beautiful card this morning Sue and gorgeous colours. I love this background ... but I don't think I would be able to do the caught in Crystal background like you do Sue. So I will stick to my trusted pixie powders till I think I am ready to have a go. Thankyou Sue

SO EXITED TODAY. My line dance classes are back on. Starting this afternoon ... We are allowed to have ten dancers in the room at any one time. So we have had to split the class and have two sessions . Ohhh I can't wait to see all my ladies again and have a great time. Is this the turning point ... I hope ... That we are getting back to normal
Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today

    PLEASE KEEP STAYING SAFE 🙏 🙏 🙏.

    Hi Sue,
such a stunning card for today. I love the combination of Pixie Sparkles, what a gorgeous effect.
I was most disappointed when you were cut off yesterday, you must have been bitterly disappointed, too. From what we've seen of you, you look pretty good and next time it might be better, - the trials and tribulations of technology.............

Absolutely beautiful Sue, the caught in crystal is lovely as are the stamps and borders. I have been MIA the last few days, total knee replacement coming up and every now and then it really goes on me - so painful. Just the usual wait for specialist. I have to go back and read about zoom now, really miss your demos Sue.
