You're Never More Than A Thought Away

Good Sunday morning all!  I started this card by cutting the You're Never More Than A Thought Away die out of white card, but I used two pieces of white card under the die while cutting.  The first one cuts completely, but the second one gives me and embossed picture with the outer edge only cut.  I used this picture of the die and coloured the flowers and leaves using Distress Markers.   Next, I glued the cut version of the die over the coloured version of the die.  I used the Double Stitched Rectangles to make a multi-layered white frame and added it with foam over the die cut.  I cut the die once more to get just the sentiment which I nipped out of the die and sponged with glue, then glittered with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I glued that to the top of the die.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  7 3/4" in size.   All for now, Sue x

  2. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to our UK mums 🌺 and to those of us without our mums or 'little girls ' my thoughts are with you this morning. Next year it will be different for most.

Sue I don't think your sample could be any prettier than you already made it. Those delicate pink flowers peeping through, the sparkle bouncing off your meaningful sentiment, yet again this would make the most beautiful gift mounted inside a glass fronted shadow box. This is what I was trying to say the other day to all our friends here this sentiment is perfect (I can't help being slushy its just who I am) sending much love round the Particraft world this Sunday xxx

    Hi Sue,
This card is lovely, and I love the technique you used. I already have the die BECAUSE I'M WORTH IT......... I am pleased you remember my motto, and I would urge all the Wilsonettes and other crafters to live by this - it makes for a much more enjoyable life..
Hugs to you all, not just the mothers..
