Family Circle

Hi bloggers!  I started today's card by using the Moonlit Sea Luna Paste through the Matrix mask and allowing it to dry well.  Once dry, I cut it with the Double Stitched Octagon die set, then cut a smaller octagon from the inside area of the stencilled background.    I matted it onto the Decorative Squares which I cut in white and added mounting foam to raise the centre octagon.  I used the Family Circle die and cut it in white and added a black shadow.  I mounted it on a white shadow backing then added it with foam to the centre of the card.  Using the Cosmos die set, I cut three solid flowers out of white and added outlines to them cut from a piece of Luna paste background using the same colour as the stencil.  I arranged the flowers in opposite corners and used the Magnolia Corner cut up into pieces as accents around them.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  X  7 1/2"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

  5. Morning Sue, I do like the lunar paste but I need to practise using it as I always manage to get some leakage which spoils my backgrounds.
However, I do love your card, today.
Sorry I don't comment each day but I always try to look at your posts.

  22. Hi Sue. Love the design of the card today bit not too sure about the lack of colour (perhaps it looks different in real life). I wonder what it would look like with a soft pastel instead of the silver.

  27. Hi Sue and everyone firstly the card today is stunning. I've been trying to use my stencils more lately and I only have a couple of the pastes but love using them. The colour combo is fantastic together.
I agree with Steph, Hunnymummy and Trish, I feel you are all my virtual family too, although I've not been here as long as some of you I don't know what I would have done without this wonderful group.
I love to come here to see Sue's cards but I also read all your comments and see what you have all been doing and that everyone is well and safe.
Take care Sue and my family of crafty friends hugs, Donna xx
