Hello crafters! I cut the Cherry Blossom Frame die out of white card. I added mounting foam to the back of it and added a piece of Arctic Blue card behind it. I cut three birds from the Robin Family die set out of tan card. I used Barn Door ink on their bellies and the tips of the branch in the beak of one of the birds. I glued the birds to the card. I cut the flowers from the Cherry Blossom Frame out of Powder Pink card and glued them randomly to the branches. I used Spun Sugar ink to the tip of the branches. I cut the Thinking Of You sentiment out of tan card and glued it to the background. I added Cosmic Lacquer to the tips of the branch that the bird was holding to give it a slight gloss. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a lovely spring sample today, I love the robins with the berries in their beak and also the little pink flowers which reminds me that spring is just around the corner, albeit a few more weeks away yet, thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, a really lovely Spring-like card, thank you for posting this today as although I have had the Robin family for some time (quite a few found their way onto my Christmas cards) I have only just received the Cherry Blossom Frame die. This is perfect inspiration for me and I will go back over the blog to find the other cards that you have used these two sets on.
ReplyDeleteMarie P - hope you are coping in isolation and the Particraft family is helping you along.

A sweet and delicate card today. The lovely robins, the cherry branches and the colors make me think of spring, when everything comes back to life. This card gives me hope that we'll enjoy the spring days outside, without restrictions. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
