The More Candles, The Bigger The Wish

Hello crafters!  I just love these All In One designs, they are so quick and easy!  So here is another one for you.  I started with a piece of pixie powdered card from my stash.  Unusual colours for me, Mango Blaze and Golden Mint, but I rather liked the brightness of it!  I cut The More Candles, The Bigger The Wish die out of it.  I cut it again out of black card and shadowed it and added a white backing the same size.  I used the fall away letters and paper pieced them back into the banner.  I added glitter to the cupcake top using Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I cut the scalloped backing in black and glued them together then added foam mounting to the back.  Next I embossed a piece of white card with the Moroccan Tile embossing folder.  I ran a bead of dries clear glue around the edge and glittered it and allowed it to dry.  I added the All In One to it in the centre.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

  2. Hi Sue and a bigger creamier cake to hold them all right? Looking at this sample as it loads made me think that anyone receiving a card made with this die will have nothing like it, and that's what I love doing for people - making a one off, something no- one else will ever own and that's down to you for giving us the tools to make people smile (although its really hard to think of 20++ totally different designs for one order) I love today's inspiration especially the thought of a bigger cake lol. 21. Nice card but I think the black mounting detracts a little. For me, maybe a plain mustard would have been better.

  24. Wonderful quick and pretty birthday card. Don't we all need those? Is the background EF Moroccan Tile? I thought it might be the more modern poinsettia? Could use that one if not.
Everyone, a good Tuesday. I am going to venture out to the post office and get some packages mailed. Always fun.
