Thank You

Hello bloggers!  I started with the Cecelia die and cut the outer die twice out of white card.  I cut them in half and glued them into the corners of a piece of white card.  Next I used a piece of pixie powder card made from Aqua Lagoon and cut it to a square and set it on the diagonal on top of the Cecelia halves.  I cut four more Cecelia dies but this time, I cut the smaller circle in the set.  I glued them into the corners of the pixied card, slightly over lapping in the centre.  I made a multi-layered circular frame using the Double Stitched Circle dies.  I stamped the sentiment and added the frame with mounting foam over it, trimming away the excess.  I added it to the centre of the card.  Using a bit of leftover pixie card, I made a small flower using the Magnolia Corner flowers.  I added it to the side of the frame with white magnolia corner leaves as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

  4. Hiya Sue and all that visit. As the pictures loaded my first thoughts were memories of way back when I spent hours playing with my Spirograph those four Cecilia die cuts on the first photo at a quick glimpse, then as you take us deeper into the design I'm thinking there are no other dies quite as beautiful, even those horrible cheap copies on Amazon that try to mimic your designs will never ever get them to look as stunning. I've never tried using just one pixie powder always mixed but that's on my to do list. Thanks for the continued inspiration throughout the years sending much love. STAY SAFE KEEP CARING xxx 💖

This is lovely but for me it is perhaps too big so I would make a card just using the inner aqua square which is stunning.Take care everyone x

  14. Good Morning Sue. Ohhh what a lovely card and a beautiful aqua colour. You have just taken me back almost 30 years to my Son and Daughter in law wedding day. They were married on 21st of December ... with three lovely bridesmaids ... all wearing this fabulous shade. It was so colourful In the church with all the Christmas greens reds and golds. And so is this beautiful card. Thankyou for the memories Sue. This is what you do to us Wilsonettes. Sending hugs and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds.
    PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🙏 🙏 🙏

  23. Hi Sue. Love the lacey effect of today's card. It has made me think of all the possibilities that can be made with all your other dies. The other thing that this has made me realise is that each colour of the pixie powders has other colours in it so you really only need to use one colour to get a lovely effect.
