Merriest Christmas Wishes

Good Sunday morning all!   Today's Christmas card offering is a very simple traditional one.  I started with a piece of white card as my background.  I cut the Merriest Christmas Wishes sentiment in red and glued it to the bottom of the card.  For the focal element, I cut the Deco Snowflake Background die in white.  I cut the outer piece first then layered up the smaller rectangular piece from the die set.  I added it above the sentiment with mounting foam.  I cut a centre oval and added the Poinsettia Stem die cut in khaki for the stem and leaves and red for the flower.  I added a backing to the flower that was cut out of a small piece of Red Glitter Kiss card.  I glued the flower on to the oval in the centre of the card.  I added small flatback pearls to the background as accents .  The card was completed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  8 3/4"  in size.  All for now. Sue x

    Good morning Sue and all.
A fabulous card for sure, So very elegant and somehow saying "All will be well"
I am so far behind with my cardmaking for Family and Friends that I need something easy and quick. I have the sentiment but not the flower. Actually the card lends itself for a variant doesn't it. I might just have a go later.
Thank you for all you do for us.
