So Glad We're Friends

Hello everyone!  I do have quite a few of the Endless Option sample cards because I was supposed to have done shows in April on C & C  with them, so I hope you aren't getting tired of seeing them!  This one is wisteria, amethyst, white and black card as the colour combo (wisteria always seems to look grey when I photograph it!)  I started by cutting the Delilah Background out of white card.  I added two black strips of card behind the two sides of the design and an amethyst piece of card down the centre, except the very middle where I added a piece of white card.  Next I made a multi-layered frame to fit it using the Double Stitched Rectangles.  I used a wider white frame, then added a smaller amethyst frame underneath and a thin wisteria frame on top.  I added the frame with foam over the background.  Next I used the Double Stitched Ovals and made three frames and used foam to make them taller as I went outward in size.  I attached them to the centre of the background with foam.  I used the So Glad We're Friends die cut in Amethyst and black card.  I shadowed the sentiment then glued it into the frame.  I stamped the Jasmine stamps and cut them out with the matching Jasmine dies.  I used Dusty Concord ink on the petals then assembled them into three flowers.  I attached the flowers around the sentiment and added the Magnolia Corner cut into pieces as accents.  The card was completed with white, wisteria and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  4. Hi Sue. There is so much detail in each of your new Endless die collection so intricate that it's hard to see where one die starts and another is placed but it's such a brilliant idea and design it makes me wonder where your idea starts for these, I bet you'd never get two alike. Stop with the apologies there are many reasons why were here day after day and one is all in the title xxx

  18. Hello Sue
Today's sample is stunning and I have all the dies except the magnolia corners(fingers crossed for my birthday on Sunday). It took me awhile to work out the different background strips I didn't sleep well last night so my brain is not functioning yet. In these strange times you have been our one constant never apologise. Take care everyone x

  33. Hi Sue. So many frames, it must have taken ages to make this card. Even though you don't see too much of the endless borders, it is nice to see them peeping out from behind the central element.

  37. Sorry tried to comment yesterday but was having internet problems. More than happy to see the different ways you use the edger dies in your samples. I rather like the colour combination but you say it isn’t the true colours so would be good to see it in real life! Howlever with this Covid I wonder when we will get to see you ‘live’. Just stay safe & we will keep our fingers crossed that you can get over next year.
