For Someone Special

Hello bloggers!  Here is a quick one using Glitter Kiss!  I started by coating a piece of card with the Periwinkle Glitter Kiss and allowing it to dry well.  Next I used the Double Stitched Rectangles to cut the piece into frames.  Starting with the outside frame, I added mounting foam to raise every other frame and then added them to a piece of white card.  I cut the For Someone Special die in both white and black and shadowed it then glued it to the very centre.  I made three Jasmine Flowers using the matching stamps and dies.  I assembled them then used  some Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide on the tips to add colour.  They were attached in opposite corners, then pieces of the Magnolia Corner were cut up to add as accents around th flowers.  The card was completed with white and wisteria mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2"  x  8" in size.  All for now. Sue x

  33. Hi Sue, not sure how to phrase my reaction to this card - striking, elegant, beautiful - they all apply but mainly I just love it. I really like to two-tone effect and using the frames in this way gives you dimension without added weight so that would help when posting.

  34. Hi Sue. Well that's really odd, on my screen this card looks as though it has been made in denim! This would be great for those difficult men. Love all the different layers.

  35. Wow, very pretty indeed, I would love to know how you get such an even finish with the Glitter Kiss, mine is always streaky....will you pass on the secret please Sue, hardly use mine anymore because always disappointed with the finish.....I love how you have built up this card with the frames and these Jasmine flowers are just beautiful, certainly finish off the card, thank you Sue, love Ursula xx

  44. Love the different levels created but all the rectangles same dark color, sorry, not my cup of tea. A lighter color or two different shades would make this lovely design look better, in my opinion. But I like the white embellishments.

Hugs from Toronto to you all.
    Stay safe and healthy.
