Hello crafters! I started today's card by embossing a piece of white card with the new
Coffee Bean Flower embossing folder. Next I cut the
Delilah Background out of soft salmon card. I used the
Delilah Edgers to cut away the two side areas. I added a white card backing and added mounting foam to them. I attached them to the sides of the embossed background. Next I used the
Double Stitched Ovals to make a multi-layered frame. A wider white base frame and a thinner Soft Salmon frame were cut then added to the centre of the card with mounting foam. I used the
Especially For You sentiment and cut it out of soft salmon card and glued it in the centre of the frame. Using the
Cosmos Flowers, I cut multiples of them out of a piece of white card with a sticky adhesive sheet added to it, I used
Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to each of the peatals before assembling them into flowers. The flowers were attached to opposite sides of the oval and
Magnolia Corner leaves were used as accents. The card was completed with white and soft salmon mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteHi Sue. What a pretty beautiful sample you've given us this morning, afternoon or evening. I really must invest in some more embossing folders the newer one's we are seeing lately have so much depth and pretty designs, although there are times when everything needs to be plain with just one of the mini expression dies taking centre stage. I can remember using a sticky sheet with dies for the first time, there's no truer saying you learn lessons the hard way - oh boy what a mess lol.

A lovely card design with this 3D Embossing Folder, parts from the Delilah Background, and sparkly Cosmos Flowers framed with leaves from the Magnolia Corner. Your sentiment is perfectly accented with two oval frames cut from the Double Stitche Oval set. I like your Cosmos flowers with the multi layers of petals. The larger one reminds me of a zinnia.
