Papillon Silhouette

Hi crafters!  This is one of my favourite Perfect Portrait cards.  I used a background piece that was in my stash pile.  I used Straw Yellow and Burnt Orange Pixie Powders all over a piece of coconut white card, spritzed it with water then added a piece of cling film to it and scrunched it to leave pretty lines when it dried.  It was a rather larger  piece of card so I cut part of it and used it behind the Papillon Silhouette die cut.  The remainder of it was used to cut out the flowers.  I used the extra flower die from the Magnolia Corner for the flowers.  I cut a wide Rectangle frame from the Background Rectangles and added mounting foam to it.  I added it over the Papillon Silhouette then added the flowers in opposite corners.  I cut the silhouette again and hand trimmed the butterflies out of it and added them on top of the ones in the original.  I put small pearls in the centres of the butterflies.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are  6"  x  8"  in size.      All for now, Sue x

  1. Hi Sue. I can't think of a nicer way to start a new week. I've seen some gorgeous projects made with this collection of dies every one different but so beautiful and I look forward to seeing more samples from you plus our Particraft friends. Hope everyone managed some kind of family Easter yesterday whether it be via video chat or with waves and blowing kisses from a doorstep as I was watching from my window yesterday after delivering a few Easter cards to try and cheer up a few neighbours. So I've rambled yet again but remember. ....

STAY SAFE KEEP CRAFTING ❤ xxx

The Papillon Silhouette is gorgeous and I love the PP colours you have used with this beautiful card!
They are not colours I normally choose for cards or when choosing clothes but I think I will have to look
at making cards with this colour scheme in future.
