Just For You

Hello crafters!  I started by making a background using the Lustre Polishes.  I randomly swiped the Tantalising Teal, Violet Vibe and The Bubblegum Lustre Polishes across a piece of card.  Next I cut two of the Herringbone backgrounds in white.  I glued them together going opposite directions so they crisscrossed and glued them to the Lustre Polish Background.  I made three flowers using the Exquisite Poppy die and cut them from three separate pieces of card coated with the individual Lustre Polishes.  I added black centres under the pearls.  I cut a Pieced Flag die and seated the Just For You expression cut in black on it.  I arranged the three flowers at the end of it and embellished them with white leaves and Lace Edged Leaves.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 1/4" in size.  All for now. Sue x

    Good morning Sue.
A stunning card from a stunning background. I haven't yet used the polishes and one of them has dried out. I hope the addition of a little water will liven it up and not sure if I should check all the others. I really would like to try this card.
Thanks for all you do for us Sue.

  31. A stunning card. Amazing how the placement of the Herringbone background die cut pieces make a background that looks knitted. I used the CS Lustre Polishes the other day. The polishes have intense pigment and are so vibrant leaving fantastic and bold color on one's project.

  39. Hello Sue,

What a stunning card. I can just imagine the Lustre Polish background is luscious peaking out from the Herringbone Lattice background. The way you have overlaid the Background die is mesmerizing. The Lustre Polished flowers are the perfect finishing touch.

    Have a wonderful day.

  40. Hi Sue, late again - I really must try harder lol. I am normally a pastel colour girl but the Exquisite Poppies coloured with these strong colours of Lustre Polishes look fantastic and really drew me in. The tantalising hint of the polishes behind the overlaid herringbone background just add to the appeal. I love this card.
