Season's Greetings

Hi bloggers!  We are getting close to Christmas but I still have lots of cards to share!  I started this card by cutting the Pretty Poinsettia Frame out of white and attaching it to a piece of sticky adhesive sheet that I added to a piece of white card.  I cut the frame again in red and used just the fall away petals from the poinsettias and pieced them back into the white frame.  I added Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz to the remaining exposed adhesive areas.  I added a multi layered frame using a wider white base, with a thinner red frame on top.  I added it with foam over the background.  I cut the Season's Greeting shadowed sentiment in red and added it to a white shadow, then glued it into the frame.  The card was completed with red and white mats and layers.  the finished dimensions are 5 3/4" x  7" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Hi Sue. Another beauty that with a change of sentiment could be used for an everyday celebration. I love the pop of red and clean fresh look but the addition of the gorgeous glitter bits give the festive bling we all love to add to our projects. Hope your day is a happy day xxx

  3. Hello Sue and all
Love this poinsettia frame and your gorgeous card too. I used it for inspiration for two important Christmas cards this year with only a couple of little changes and was really happy with them. Using the red and white looked to crisp and fresh and meant I could mix them up and get a twofer too lol !!

  35. Hi Sue. Love this red and white colour combination for Christmas and I suppose I am rather biased because this is my favourite of all your Christmas dies. Doesn't it look good with the red paper piecing in the poinsettias.
