Happy Birthday

Hello all!  Don't try to adjust your screen for colour as today's offering is black and white and silver.  I started with the Tina triple Layering die and cut two of them with black as the top colour, then silver and a white base.  I attached those to the edges of a separate piece of white card.  next I cut two more of the Tina die with a white top, a silver middle and a black base.  I added these on the inside of the other ones with a bit of mounting foam so they were stepped up from the sides.  Next I cut the Jocelyn die in white and backed it in white.  I cut a thin border frame out of black card and added it.  I attached it in the centre with foam and added the Happy Birthday Shadowed sentiment in the middle.  I cut the words in black and used a silver shadow.  I accented it with some small flowers made from the Petite Forget Me Not centre dies.  The card was completed with white, black and silver mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  9 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  6. Hi Sue.
It must have taken some time to piece all the fall out bits back into the dies to create this illusion that brings you into the sample, it's a very clever design and one of those cards that you take time really looking at before it takes star of the show over the other cards you may have received. One any male would appreciate I'm sure.
Wherever you are today I hope your day is happy and restful xxx

  8. Not for me today Sue sorry. I find the double borders overpowering and would have preferred just one set. But hey ho just my opinion and as there is not much you do that I don't like I hope you will forgive me this one.

Good morning Sue and all your followers,
Quite an unusual card this morning. I do like the fact that it would work for a man's card and also for most occasions just by changing the sentiment.
    Hugs.
