Thinking Of You

Hi Crafters!  I started with the background for today's offering.  I embossed the Celtic Circle background into a piece of milk card for some texture.  I used the Double Stitched Squares and made a thin frame out of milk card and added it with foam.  For the focal element, I cut the Claire die in milk card.  I selected a piece of Midnight Blue pixie powdered card that I had in my stash and cut the backing out of it.  I made a thin frame using the outer cutting dies from the Claire.  I attached it to the background with glue, then offset the Claire die on top of it.  I cut the centre of the Eliza die out of milk card and added it to the centre with foam.  I cut the Thinking Of You sentiment out of a section of the pixie powdered card and glued it in the middle.  Using the Layered Carnation dies, I cut enough of them to make three layered flowers from the same pixie powdered background.  I layered up the flowers then seated them in opposite corners.  I added a thin satin ribbon and some leaves around them as accents.  I used milk card to add the final mats and layers.  the finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  13. Hello Sue,

I love the overall look of white with the midnight blue pixie powder accents. Whoever came up with the idea for pixie powders really came up with a winner. I love them. What I like most about the card though is the embossing that you did with the Celtic Circle background die. It's just beautiful.

    Have a wonderful day.
