All The Best

Hello bloggers!  Jocelyn is having her day on the blog today!  I started with a piece of coconut white card and embossed it with the Brambled Rose embossing folder.  I cut a strip of double pearls in half an added a row to the top and bottom edges of the card.  Next I cut the Jocelyn die twice out of coconut white card using the inner cutting edge and backed it with Bluebell card.  I cut the Jocelyn again but this time I used Arctic Blue card with the outer decorative cutting edge and cut three of them.  I back two of them with a white backing and last one with a Bluebell card backing.  I used the last one for my focal element and added a thin decorative white frame using the two outer cutting edges from the Jocelyn set.  I attached all of the vertically working from the outside inward and mounting the single Jocelyn in the centre up using mounting foam.  I cut the All The Best sentiment in Bluebell and black and shadowed it, then added it to the actual shadow die which I cut in white.  I stacked it in the centre and attached the saying with foam.  The card was completed with white, Arctic Blue and Bluebell mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  9" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  34. My immediate thought was that this was a rather busy card. However, on looking at it closely, I thought that the underlying embossed layer had a perfect matching pattern and that had it been plain, the card would not have had the same impact. I like it!

Please answer directly to my email address elise.amann(at)wanadoo.fr).

    Hello !
I'm writting an article for the issue 50 of the french magazine called "Passion cartes créatives".
The subject is "silhouettes and again the light scenes"...
I wish to show your beautiful card (seen here : http://particraft.blogspot.com/2017/06/tropical-silhouette-card.html) within this article.
Would you agree with that ?
(if you have other cards you want to share with our readers, they would be welcome !)
If yes, could you please send me as soon as possible a high resolution photo of your creation (without watermark on it) ?
Of course, your name or pen name if you want will appear next to the image, and the address of your blog will be in the address book.
Thank you in advance for your quick answer, even if it is negative, so that I can get organized (I have to give my paper very soon).
    Best Regards, Elise AMANN
