Just A note To Say

Hi crafters!  These themed frames are great for really quick cards and this one is no exception!  I used a piece of pixie powder background from my stash in the corner (I make a bunch at a time and then they are ready when needed!).  This one used Lava Red, Burnt Orange and Rich Gold for the colour combination.  I matted it with a thin black mat.  I cut the Just A Note Frame in both white and black.  I used the black as as a shadow behind and mounted it with foam in the centre.  I cut the sentiment in black and glued it to the middle of the frame.  I embossed a slightly larger piece of white card with the Rope Chain embossing folder and added the piece in the centre of it with foam.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8" in size.  All for now, Sue x

The Just a Note Frame card is a great card for someone who is musically inclined. I like your combination of colors for your pixie powdered background on this card. I think I will have to get my pixies out and do a few pieces of card using these colors. Thanks for the inspirationn. You never fail me with ideas.

  36. This is great, I agree they are all a picture on their own, make it what you want by adding colour, etc....yours are always amazing...love these dies... thank you Sue...luv Ursula xx

  37. Hi Sue. Yes, I would have to agree that these dies are great for making really quick cards. You can always add more detail using colour on them although they are detailed enough to use them on their own as you have shown here.

  38. Hi Sue, I love the Rope Chain embossing folder and the pixied background, I'm just not sure if the Just a Note frame stands out enough. It is probably because we are more used to seeing you colouring or paper piecing the frames that this one looks so different and if I saw it for real I expect I would say I loved it lol.

Beautiful post and in this colour way very feminine - with a different background colour will be equally gorgeous for the male musician. Love it.
