For You

Good Sunday morning all!  I started today's card by selecting a piece of black card and taping the Wavy mask on it.  I used Enchanted Gold gilding polish through it and set it aside to dry.  Next I cut the Eliza die in white and backed it with a piece of antique gold card cut with the Eliza outer die.  I used the inner circle die and cut it in white and added an antique silver card backing to it.  I used the For You shadowed sentiment cut in white with a gold shadow and glued it in the centre of the die.  I made three Layered Carnation flowers and edged them with the Enchanted Gold polish then glued them around the focal element and added some gold leaves as accents.  The card was completed with white, antique gold, black and antique silver mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x
7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  5. Morning Sue. I do love the effect that masks give to a piece of card but I've never tried it myself, you make it look so easy peasy on your demo's but me being me, well - we'll say no more lol.
The Eliza looks so pretty with the addition of your carnations a true Sue card.
Have an enjoyable day stay happy xxx

  30. Hi Sue. Love the background. I thought I had that stencil in my stash but it appears not. I am sure I would be able to create something similar with some of the others that I have. Thanks for the inspiration.

  35. Hi Sue,
Back home after a hair raising landing due to wind and rain.
Loving the wavy stencil background. I stopped buying stencils several years ago as I was always disappointed with the effect, but maybe I should have another go with some of your lovely ones.
Gorgeous card. Have a great day everyone. Hugs Pauline back from S.A. xx

Dramatic - yes. Beautiful - yes. Awesome - yes. Great combination of yin and yang elements to produce: strong and delicate, bold and light, shinny and unglossy.
