Just For You

Hi bloggers!  I started today's card by embossing a piece of wisteria card with the Opulent Frame 3D embossing folder.  I matted it with a thin black mat and added mounting foam to the back.  Next I stamped the Avery's Pearls Stamp To Die For in black.  I cut it out with the Avery die.   I used a Stormy Sky Distress marker to colour in the swirly pattern in the stamp.  I put it back in the die and inked the edges with Sweet Violet Chalk Cloud ink.   I cut a larger decorative  piece using the outer cutting die in the Avery set and added the stamped image to it with foam.  Next I cut the inner die in white and nipped it in half and mounted it to the sides for a bit of detail.  I cut both the For You and the Just from the Just Because set and combined them to make a Just For You sentiment and glued them on to their shadow dies which were cut in white.   I glued it in the centre of the stamped image and added some small wisteria Flowers around it as tiny accents.  White, black and wisteria mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  9" in size.

    Hi Sue, it's hard to know where to start. So I'll start your way with the absolute beautiful folder which I really need the depth is just gorgeous. This is full of inspiration Sue, and the way you've coloured the STDF makes it one of those projects you would sit and look at for ages digesting every inch and finding new little swirls and curly Q's it really is pretty from the background up.     I have to agree with everthing Steph has said. That embossing folder is gorgeous. I don’t have that one (yet) but have Natalie’s Poinsettia embossing folder and the depth on these folders is gorgeous.

    Oh I love this.
    Really really love this. The colours , the STDF, the embossing folder - gorgeous. I always forget about how many STDF’s I have then I see a card like this and I know I just have to put them to work.
    I am off to the theatre this evening - The London Palladium to be precise to see Snow White. A star studded cast including Dawn French, Julian Clary and Nigel Havers so should be quite a night.

    Good Morning Sue. Beautiful sample card today Sue. And I just adore this embossing folder.... I have this and it never lets me down....the middle space is big enough to decorate with lots of lovely dies be it oval.... circle ...oblong or square and even diamond. It's very versatile and a good go to for those last minute quick cards.

    Hi Sue, another beautiful card that really appeals to me. I love the embossing folder, wisteria card, Avery and her STDF - they are all gorgeous and when combined in this manner they make a fantastic card.

    Doreen R - Craft World no longer have a bricks and mortar shop. They are an on-line only shop now known as Crafts 4 Less. Maybe this is why you have not had a reply.
