Hi there fellow crafters! Sneaking in another Christmas card before the big day! I started this one with a piece of coconut white card and cut two of the Frosty Snowflake Borders out of antique gold card and glued them to the top and bottom edge of the card. For the focal element, I cut the Eve die in white for the base layer. Next, I added the faith die cut in white. I cut a gold frame for the very centre using the inner dies from the Natalie. I added a Pierced Flag with the Believe sentiment from the Snowball Frame die set cut in gold. Two vellum poinsettias were added to the left side as accents. I used some Enchanted Gold Gilding polish on them to add a bit of gold detail to the flowers. White and Antique Gold card mats and layers were used to complete the card. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now,

I just love the poinsettias in velum. It gives them a totally different fell - so delicate and pretty. Eve and Faith are such gorgeous dies and wow what a centrepiece when they are together. All in all a beautiful card. When I grow up I want to make cards just like that!
Out for my mother in laws 80th last night - all this celebrating is exhausting!

Good Morning Sue. A very elegant and stunning card this morning Sue. I love it and I still have one or two left to make yet,so thanks for this sample.
ReplyDeleteI have the eve die and thanks to a fellow crafter who made a beautiful concertina card using this die and the hexagon set (which I won on its launch) she allowed me to use her idea to recreate her project for my sister's Christmas Card. I have altered it a little so it's not an exact copy.....and as soon as I have given her my card I will put it on display on the social media sites with a huge Thankyou to you..... for the dies and to Sara for the inspiration. It goes to show that your dies can be used for ornamental purposes as well as cards. Thankyou. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds
