Paradise Shirt

Hello there my crafty friends!  Today's card is a bit of a quirky one!  I created a background using the Stitched Hills and Cloud die along the bottom out of milk card so it looked like sand.  Next I added some palm trees from the Island Paradise set.  I added a few other other beachy items like the Adirondack chair, some seagulls and a beach sign.  Next I cut the Pressed Shirt die out of white card.  I stamped it with flowers from the Floral Happiness set using distress oxides.  I cut two pockets and stamped them too and added them with foam.  I made a pair of flip flops to one pocket.  Using the small flower die from the Chloe die set, I made matching flowers and glued them on to the shirt like a Hawaiian lei.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 63/4" x
7 1/2" in size.  All for now Sue x

    Lol hi Sue. What a great sample of summer, I can't help but smile and my first thought is what a brilliant card for 'our Sam' to make for Lyndon considering where they've just returned from ☺ if only I had your creative fun brain, I bought 'typical' shirt type card to use with my shirt die, you know the kind - striped cardstock, cardstock with dots, office or smart, and the plain, but I'd never thought of Hawaiian patterned shirts it's a brilliant fun sample Sue and great inspiration thank you for opening up that empty space where a brain should be.     Good Morning Sue. If any one was feeling down in the dumps ..... this is the card to send them . It's absolutely lovely.... quirky and fun. I think this would suit Sam Smithard to a tee.     Hi Sue, a lovely bright and fun card to cheer up what is a rather gloomy day. At first sight I thought you had used a patterned paper but I should have known better and the stamping is lovely. Love the chair and the flip flops in the pocket.
