Hi there crafters! It's time for a baby card! I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card using the Radiant Rings embossing folder for texture. I used the Double Stitched Rectangles to make a multi layered duck egg blue and white frame and attached it with foam over the background. Next I cut the Welcome Little One Frame in white. I used Tumbled Glass distress ink while still in the die and inked it to bring out some of the detail. I added a strip of duck egg blue card behind the baby blocks then backed the frame with a white backing and cut the centre out. I added a little more ink around the edges then used foam on the back to raise it inside my frame. I cut the sentiment in blue twice, stacked them and added it to the centre of the card. White and duck egg blue card mats and layers were used to complete the card. Finished dimensions are 7" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x
Good Morning Sue

Morning Sue. You know how much I love these 'useful' collections, useful for my monthly market. It may sound stupid but I get so excited when I see occasion frames or fillables and other specific frames, the shirt for example as I know I can buy them or receive them knowing how much I'll use them and how much other people will love and appreciate them too, this baby frame is still on my list but I know for sure it will be ticked off and in my box, any new parent would be thrilled to have this as a keepsake.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day xxx
Good Morning Sue and all
ReplyDeleteStunning card this morning , the multi layered frame gives the card depth . The hint of colour on the welcome little one frame works so well and draws the design out.

ReplyDeleteSo very sweet. Your Welcome Little One Create-a-Card die makes it so quick and easy to make a wonderful baby card. Your Radiant Rings embossing folder is a perfect addition to the design giving a dotted Swiss look of a soft blanket. Reminds me of the baby receiving blankets I have made in the past.
