Sweet Bundle Of Joy

Hi bloggers!  Today's offering is one for the new Mom's out there!  I started with a piece of decorative paper from my stash for the background. I cut a multi layered frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles out of blush card and coconut white card.  I added the frame with mounting foam.  Next I cut the rattle in blush card and backed it with blue dusk card and cut the centre of the handle out.  I added a small round treat cup that I had filled with Iced Flake and white micro beads.  I sealed it with acetate and glued it into place in the rattle.   I glued the rattle diagonally into the frame.  I cut the sentiment in blush card and glued it to the upper corner.  I used the border from the set and created a blush bow that I attached to the bottom centre of the frame.  The card was completed with white, blush and blue dusk mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  18. Hello Sue
That's what I love about your dies they make spectacular cards. Yesterday I had to make an 18th birthday card in a hurry(my mum always reminded of impending birthdays) I used the cocktail glasses and it took me 3/4 hour so thank you Sue much quicker than going to the shops and just think of the money saved. Now what die is next on my list?

  29. Really like that sentiment, and the bow is so clever. I'd probably do it in yellow snd green. A rattle is about the most literal reason to make a shaker card.

    Best to all,

  37. Hi Sue, who doesn't like a shaker card and I am sure any new parent would love this one. I think the bow made from a border is very clever but as it is hanging off the edge it would be difficult to post without spoiling it, probably one for a hand delivery only.
