I Do Champagne Flutes

Hi bloggers!  Today's card looks a bit complicated, but the video breaks it down in steps, so it is very easy to recreate if you like.

The finished dimensions are 7" x  8 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  11. Morning Sue. Sitting with a smug smile on my face and this is because I made something quite similar to this sample with the flutes, I had to change the die to an older release but it still fit in really well, the lady that ordered the card text me to say her sister and husband were thrilled to bits with their 30th anniversary card and it all looked so special as naturally it was mostly made with pearl cardstock with a hint of the same colour taken from her wedding bouquet - pale lilac (wisteria). My'keeper' managed to find a map which prints out in a very soft grey, barley showing rather than the strong colours of a normal map so I managed to find the road a church where they married and used it to back the frame which may sound weird or yak to some reading this lol but the print was so pale it was just about noticeable so didn't overpower the rest of the card, apparently it bought tears to the eyes of the 'bride' of 30 years, so thank you Sue for giving me the tools to help the couple celebrate a very special day. I shall pop off now to see how you made your sample look so special as do all your celebration cards, have a lovely day and be happy xxx

  12. Woohoo! We're in the big-time now! Sue's videos have attracted advertisers! Congratulations! The one I saw was for a frozen dessert that combined cake and ice cream or frozen yogurt.

Today was the first time I saw one. Have you been seeing them before now? I'm glad there's another revenue stream to ensure that our designer keeps producing designs we love.

My favorite part of this card is how great those little Easter bows look at a wedding!

Well, we made it through Monday. Let's see if we can do Tuesday, too.

    Best,
    Donita

  40. Hi Sue, a total contrast to yesterday's CAS card but I love it. I believe in pulling out all the stops for wedding and anniversary cards, they are so special as is this one that you have created. I'm glad you made the video, it shows the true colours used as I'm afraid the still pictures are showing me several shades from pink through to grey. This is not always a bad thing as it shows us what it could like like in a variety of colours.

Steph - your anniversary card sounds lovely, perfectly tailored for the couple.
Jan - you will be so relieved to have your house back to normal, fingers crossed you get through the next season unscathed. Happy crafting.
