Aged To Perfection

Hi all!  Today's card showcases the Vineyard Frame die, but cut up into sections!  I started with a piece of milk card and used some Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide around the edges to distress the background.  Next I cut the Ivy Garden Background circle out of milk card and inked through the die with Antique Linen Distress Oxide.  I used mounting foam to attach it in the middle of the card.  Next I cut the Vineyard Frame out of white card.  I nipped it apart into smaller sections then inked them.  I used Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint, Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks with small smoothies to ink the sections.  I added mounting foam to the back to raise it and added them round the ivy garden central point.  Next I cut a couple of the sentiment die from the frame, stacked them and inked it with Vintage Photo.  I glued it in the centre of the card.  Milk mats and layers were used to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  6 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  6. Looks like the Facebook post went up at 6 a.m. but maybe the timer that should have posted Thursday's card on Particraft at exactly 6 a.m. finally broke after all these years, or someone bumped the a.m. to p.m. while dusting, or the computer hit the snooze button and turned over when the alarm went off.
Whew! The Earth is back on its axis.

  28. Hi Sue,

The Ivy Garden and and Vineyard Frame could almost have been made for each other they look so good in this combination and I like the warmer softer feel to this design compared to the Aged to Perfection card from a few days ago...and this card is perfect for those of us who like the smaller square format - so much easier to post too...

    Hi Sue,
What a lovely card. And showing how much the frame is. I wish I got my taste buds back, and enjoy a good glass of red. But I suppose it'll do my waistline some good.

Hi Sue, you were just checking up on us weren't you to make sure that we were paying attention to your daily blog. Glad everything is restored and we finally got to admire today's offering. Love the sentiment as that is what I am personally trying to do. Wasn't going to have a glass of wine tonight but you have persuaded me. However, I don't need much persuasion.(I'm managing the 'aging' bit, but the 'perfection' is taking rather longer Lovely colours. Hugs xx Pauline
