  4. Hi Sue. This was one of my favourite dies in my favourite section of the April launch, it's so clever and like the tree, it's one that no other die designer has bought to the craft world with all those petals that lift up. I grew up with at least 6 hyndrangea bushes in the front garden that my late mum nurtured and that I use to love jumping over lol I'm not only looking forward to watching your tutorial but also to the day I own this beautiful one of its kind die. Have a lovely day xxx

  11. Thank you once again for telling us the colors you used, both for the sparkly marble background and the realistic hydrangea.

I've seen some magnificent hydrangeas on professionally cared-for yards in the expensive houses next to the water. Just glorious!

Haven't tried growing them because they seem too scientific. I wouldn't have the first idea. Same with broccoli. Wouldn't know how to grow all those little broccles.

Anyway, your paper hydrangea are much less intimidating. Although I don't have aluminum sulfate, I do have Distress Oxides. So thanks for letting us join the game!

And I love your background technique! It really is lovely. I never would have thought of sprinkling glitterbitz into marble, but it makes sense! Some marbles do sparkle with mica flecks.

This is an interesting card, and so educational!

    Thank you.

    Enjoy your Monday-with-a-vengeance on Tuesday.

    Best to all,
    Donita

  50. Hi Sue

Gorgeous card and die. I will watch the video later. I have lots to catch up on as we have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Italy to celebrate our pearl wedding anniversary. On the day we had lunch in Sorrento overlooking the bay of Naples and it was so beautiful. We spent a lot of time out of the hotel so the Internet wasn’t great, but I popped in for a quick peak when I could.

  53. Hi Sue. Although the hydrangea is not one of my favourite flowers I was so intrigued to see how you had done the crackle background given the trouble I had had with it. I watched the video and was so surprised that you had done it with a stamp! How easy it is. I shall have to invest in this stamp set.

You have certainly captured the beauty of the hydrangea with this beautiful card and the way that you have cleverly designed the die. Makes it look like an actual snowball hydrangea. The background frames it so well and thanks for sharing how to create it in the video.
