Hi bloggers! I know it is not a regular video day, but we have found we are falling a bit behind so an extra day a week has been added back into the schedule until we catch up. I hope you will enjoy this cheeky little monkey card video!

Elaine, hope Andrew had the drain fitted and is now feeling more comfortable. It must be a constant worry to watch him in pain,my hugs to you, Andrew and the family along with support and prayers.
Rosemary, I can feel your joy about the show coming up, you will have a great time.
Happy to report that work is warmer with the new extra heaters, still not ideal as not all of the office have them but it has been more comfortable the last couple of days but you do feel the difference if you go to a different part of the office.
My colleague at Work has her op date on 30th and she was diagnosed 12 weeks after me, now 22 weeks Down the line, rang the hospital, on the list but no date, my Consuktant is general surgery but specialises breast cancer surgery so that takes priority and he is off sick at moment. Expecting a call today to see if I have been moved to another surgeons list nut may have to go for more ore assessments clinic. Appears I am a complicated patient with other health issues. But the PM says the NHS is not in crises ....
Oh I did feel old yester, got my renewal nitice for driving licence for age 70 as looming in April. Aaaargh.
Hope the comment stays today. My hug basket is full and overflowing. Sending well wishes for poorly and missing friends.

Morning Sue. Hope the 'blog beast' doesn't take my comment today, it's so weird that our comments seem to disappear at the moment, anyway, fingers crossed and here we go. These cheeky little guys found their way into my craft room to celebrate my birthday last month but due to the festivities etc that's as far as they've got, now that nasty flu type virus has had a hold on my keeper for the past fortnight I've just not had the time or energy to think of craft time, I do love these necessities Sue, so very useful and so much fun. After putting my foot down regardless of the cold and my 'issues' I had to insist that I go grab a few necessities yesterday, unfortunately all I came home with was milk and bread ! Now when I said 'necessities' it depends how you see this word bread or the DIY collection, milk or Babys First Pram, but it was soon decided for me as the virus had hit my little craft shop and was closed due to illness, so at least we have hot drinks and toast if the appetite returns ! So thats my comment done and will it stay ?

ReplyDeleteA lovely card Sue ,i love these cheeky Monkeys .
I did do an update on Andrews progress late last night ,however it seems to have vanished .
Come Wednesday teatime Andrew had an ultra sound , it appears there is no fluid it is a mass of cells wrapping around the bowel this is causing the swelling ,they also say the bowel was not blocked as originally thought .
He is having bloods taken this morning and seeing his consultant this afternoon ,they advise Chemo ASAP . The Morphine is not helping the pain as much now .
After having digested all what has gone on , i question if the scan results were even looked at prior to yesterday afternoon, it seems to me that 6 whole days have been wasted .
Pam pleased you are a little warmer , i do hope you dont have to start re assessment etc it takes up far too much time . Haha NHS not in crisis ? that's a laugh that is.
Sorry i have not read all the posts , i have such a lot going around in my head

Pam it's so annoying when the hospital messes you about, I've had it myself. Keep on phoning and magic seems to happen you get an appointment, it happened to me any way. Glad you are a bit warmer. Don't worry about being 70 it is the new 50!love and huggles.

Pam glad you are a bit warmer at work but sorry you are having to wait so long for your op. I am not surprised though. By the time I got a date for my cateract op my pre op assessment ran out the day of the op and I had to have it done again. I have just had to renew my driving licence. You say you feel old😀 I had to renew mine because I will be 76 at the end of the month. I did it on line and I received it in less than a week. Elaine I was so sorry to hear your news and hope things can be sorted soon. Still in my thoughts and prayers. Take care. Hugs for all who need them.

It is a ninetieth birthday card for my sisters daughter in laws grandmother. That sounds complicated doesn’t it? I hope she likes it.
